Fandom & Feelings
Therapeutic lessons from the stories that stay with us.

May 13–14, 2027 - Emerald Event Center, Avon, Ohio
Where Storytelling Meets Clinical Practice

Fandom & Feelings is a two-day continuing education conference for mental health professionals who believe the stories we love can help us better understand ourselves, our clients, and the work we do every day.

From superheroes to wrestling, music, fantasy, science fiction, comics, and beyond, this conference explores the therapeutic lessons hidden within the worlds that have stayed with us long after the credits rolled.

Why Fandom & Feelings?

Stories have always helped us make sense of what it means to be human.

They give us language for grief.
They remind us that healing isn't linear.
They show us courage, belonging, resilience, sacrifice, and hope.

As therapists, we use stories every day. Sometimes intentionally and sometimes without even realizing it.

Fandom & Feelings is a conference built on the belief that the stories we return to again and again aren't just entertainment. They're opportunities for reflection and connection.

Because sometimes the stories that stay with us teach us the most.
